The Orion X7 represents a significant leap forward in robotic mowing technology
Sunseeker launched a wire-free robotic mower, the Orion X7.
“The Sunseeker Orion X7 represents a significant leap forward in robotic mowing technology,” said Justin Novosel, executive vice president and general manager of North American operations for Sunseeker. “With its advanced features and unparalleled performance, the Orion X7 is set to become the go-to choice for those who are seeking a seamless and efficient lawn care experience.”
Building off its wire predecessor, the Sunseeker L, this wireless robotic mower is equipped with three new technologies. Real-time Kinematic (RTK) enables the Orion X7 to track boundaries with precise positioning accuracy down to the centimeter to ensure accurate mowing. The Virtual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (VSLAM) technology allows the mower to navigate seamlessly through dense bushes and maintain uninterrupted connectivity.
The Orion X7 is also equipped with artificial vision and a deep-leaning system, which enables it to handle complex situations.
With remote app control, users can manage multiple zones, schedule mowing times and create custom designs with different mowing patterns. With its advanced route planning algorithm, the Orion X7 can mow in parallel lines.
The Sunseeker Orion X7 boasts dual cutting plates with a cutting width of 14 inches, with auto height adjustment between 0.8 and 4.0 inches. The unit’s All-Wheel Drive (AWD) capabilities enable it to conquer slopes up to 70 percent, according to the company. The mower also features an auto charger and rain sensor.
The Sunseeker Orion X7 Robotic Mower will be available for pre-order and at offline dealer stores starting on March 25. For more information about the Sunseeker Orion X7 Robotic Mower and to secure your pre-order, visit here.
